April 16th, 2004

May 7th and 8th are the dates for the open house at the Fiala Transportation Center in Kent. This will be the last time for us to gather at a CBS garage. From 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM there will be food and drinks as well as a chance to get behind a wheel of a CBS Gillig, GMC New Look and GMC Old Look. We will be bringing Units 6738 and Unit 2345 (ie "The Graduate") down for both days to give other alumni the chance behind the wheel one more time.

The remaining CBS memorabilia pieces will be sold during both open houses as well as online. Everything is first come, first serve so feel free to call your order in even if you are planning on being at the open house. The online ordering will allow those of you that aren't going to be able to join us to buy one last piece of CBS. Shipping prices will depend on what you buy and how far it's shippped. Details are available from CBS.

Every effort has been made to make the sale of memorabilia fair to both those that visit and those that are unable. If you have any questions about the actual sale just call the Campus Bus Service and they'll be more than willing to help. If you have any question about specific items they can help as well or you can email us as we've spent plenty of hours over the last few months going over everything.

For further information regarding the Open House and Memorabilia Sale visit the cBS website. CBS contact information is also located here:

Alumni are continuing to sign up on our website for our little project. In addition to our project we plan on picking up where the current CBS website will leave off. Once they shutdown their operations we're hoping to be able to provide similar contact information for fellow alumni. We know there are a lot more of you out there so if you are interested in sharing your experiences with us please fill out the form linked below.

Thanks for your support! Check back often as we'll be posting further information and pictures for the upcoming open house and auction on May 7th and 8th in Kent.
